Climate Rally

Along the route, a variety of events are planned with expert talks, discussion panels and information about the tour. During the larger events, we will meet with relevant people from the climate movement and support the exchange between scientists, politicians and young people in the cities in question.
To support and promote the ongoing exchange across national borders and to manifest the unity of our common commitment to educate people around the world about climate change, this tour stands for our multinational efforts on climate protection and shows our core message: overcome borders and fight climate change together.
With the mobility aspect of a bicycle tour through the Alps, we want to make the voices of youth heard by holding several events in three different countries along our route, addressing mobility and climate change issues.

This tour gains its relevance through two factors. One factor is the public awareness raised by the tour itself, the story we can tell through it and the symbolic value of our common endeavour involving young people from different nations. Our wheels are also seen as a symbol for much bigger wheels in politics and economics that need to get going. This spirit should be continued in our output, the second important factor.

Our Claims

Our demands will push for a drastic acceleration of progress on zero-emission road transport – building on one of the high-priority core issues of this year’s COP presidency. We think it is crucial to involve youth in the process of finding solutions for the mobility of the future. To this end, we want to represent youth voices holistically from the local to the international level and support them with scientific advice.

Who We Are

Who We Are

The event is jointly organised by the Local Conferences of Youth (LCOY) team from Austria, Italy and Germany. We are a heterogeneous group of young people spread across our countries.
